As my final project at NKH Bergen, I decided to promote myself by promoting norwegian cities. I created a A2-sized poster depicting proposals for flags for nine cities across Norway. Norwegian cities uses their city-sigils when represented on buildings or important documents, but these are too detailed to be easily recognised from afar. When I designed the flags I wanted to capture the spirit of the inhabitants and the cities geographic attributes. All the flags have the same aspect ratio of 2:3 to create coherence.
